This Privacy Policy describes how GenieCV ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

GenieCV is designed with data privacy in mind.

• Profile Data: Info you enter for your CV (Name, Email, Work History, etc.) is stored locally on your device or in your private secure cloud account.
• AI Content Generation: When you use our AI features to generate text, the prompts you provide are processed by our secure AI service providers but are not used to train models or sold to third parties.

2. Data Usage

We use your information solely to:

• Generate and format your professional resumes and CVs.
• Provide AI-powered writing suggestions.
• Improve app performance and fix bugs through anonymous crash reporting.

3. Data Protection

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your CV data never leaves your control except for the specific purpose of generating PDFs or syncing across your own devices.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Play Billing for secure in-app donations. We do not store your credit card information; it is handled entirely by Google.

5. Data Deletion & Account Closure

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

• In-App Deletion: Go to Settings > Profile and tap on "Delete Account". This will permanently remove your profile, saved CVs, and authentication data.
• Manual Request: If you cannot access the app, you can request data deletion by emailing us at support@geniecv.app. Please use the email address associated with your account.

Upon deletion, all personal data is purged from our production databases immediately. Backups may retain data for up to 30 days before permanent erasure.
